Hey Library Lady!
Hey Library Lady! is Ellen Davila, School Librarian at Ewing High School in Ewing, NJ. Very few people could pronounce her last name correctly (DAH'-VEAL-LAH) because of the accent on the first part--hence, she was Library Lady to many Ewing students when she first started at Ewing HS. Now she is affectionately known as "Ms. D". Ellen entered the library profession after working for 10 years as an English teacher. Before working at Ewing High School, Ellen was "Miss Ellen," working as a youth library associate at the Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library, where she did YA and children's programming and created a bi-monthly Spanish storytime. While she loves her current job, she still misses the freedom of dancing, singing, and giggling with the 2 year old set.
